There is a jazz resurgence in America now. Maybe it's the high oil and gas prices, but it's no wonder that classics such as Miles Davis' Kind of Blue are being rediscovered by a new generation who want to kick back and relax on a "stay"cation with some smooth jazz.

One of the leading jazz musicians in the Miami Valley, although he is not limited to this area, is Mario Abney. Mario plays with the G. Scott Jones Freedom Ensemble as well as his own quartet.
