James Bond movies are thrilling, have continued to entertain many, and will undoubtedly survive changing times. However, there are those who feel the shower scene in Skyfall, the latest epic, crosses a line. Yes, the Bond character is known for extremism. However, it could be said that this Skyfall Bond crosses the line from hedonist to creep. Not wanting to give anything away, in case you should want to see the film, as I did, but there is reason to believe that Skyfall may be read as a kind of neo-liberal commentary; or, a failure to come to terms with a particular kind of past.
and i didn't think t5he story highly underwhelming. i mean i love javier bardem and daniel craig, and they both acted pretty decent but the movie was just lack luster. if it wasn't a bond movie it would have failed big time at the box office. what was the story? one dude trying to get revenge . how is that anything original at all. if u dont want to show too much action u have to have a solid story. skyfall failed at both.
