Yes, it is really called that ...

Wanna know something weird? This is me, au natural!

Are you living in a world where you do it all? Like literally, nearly, everything you do is generated by your own initiative either because what you do is so unique, the rabble haven't quite caught on, or maybe because you are simply annoying?

It happens.

Avoiding a catastrophe of expended energy is key to handling crisis that comes from having skills. For me, that means looking for off-beat beauty products to spice up my days. Whether it be Gorilla Perfume, or Chanel luxury, or both at the same time, diversity can lead to unexpected results. That means, the absence of conformity.

And for many reasons, this train of thought brings me to this: the mash-up of Lush and Chanel. Equal parts interesting, and problemmatic. And the way my beauty routine runs. Deal?

Some things in life are circumspect, but that is mostly due to preconceived notions of the Other. As in, a simultaneous attraction and repulsion for the Other. Here I am thinking of this movie which profoundly influenced me the first time that I saw it. "Schindler's List" (Spielberg, 1993) also put in context the fondness bestowed upon me by an adult who taught me much at a special time in my life.

Below is a photo of my two recent beauty treats, Ultra Correction Lift by Chanel, and Feeling Younger, a shimmer from Canadian company Lush. To think that, in the span of a Southern California Spring, one could acquire two such products and use them for the balmy transition from Winter to Spring in LA, is in some ways, astonishing. At least if you meditate on culture, cultural politics, and love, as I do.
