Star power. Lupita Nyong'o has it. The "it" factor means finally, finally, Hollywood gets the rich diversity that is America. Will we see more diverse leading ladies cast in non-traditional roles on the big screen? I hope. Historically, Hollywood has marginalized those who do not fit the norm, but the world has changed. Finally, we see a more diverse  Hollywood emerging. The Academy ought to take pride. Nyongo's big Oscar win for her portrayal of Patsy in 12 Years A Slave (McQueen, 2013), opens the door for continuous path-breaking adventures in cinema.

Yes, there are plenty of stories to go around for all who choose to participate in the land of make-believe.
